At 73, and a long term "hacker" I have always wanted to get real golf tuition. We had booked for 2023 but circumstances caused us to cancel. When we got around to it again, I was really keen to learn where I have been going wrong. My tutor, Dave Thomas, was quick to see the problems and with his guidance and about 500 balls on the driving range I know what I have to do to improve my game. I also know it will take Perseverance and self-discipline! All in all, it was an excellent experience, great instruction, full of good humour, buckets of balls and two really good golf courses to put us to the test! Like Ann, will be there again next year.

At 72, and an absolute novice I attended under sufferance to join John with a great deal of trepidation. With a slightly handicapped body, I only anticipated doing 3 hours if that - not knowing if my body would hold out - I made three whole days -Yay - Therese was the most awesome, energetic, funny and encouraging tutor - we laughed so much and I learnt so much - we came back to NZ and I have now purchased golf clubs and also joined the club which I never thought I would do.- I think I am pretty addicted, which is awesome, as I didn’t expect to be, came away from the course excited and can’t wait to get on our home course and have definitely bookmarked coming back next year for some more tuition. especially with Therese.

I can’t recommend Australian Golf Schools highly enough to anyone wanting to work on improving their game. I had a wonderful week of golf - both the coaching at the school and playing on some wonderful Gold Coast courses with expert tuition. Thank you, Tom, David and especially Therese who did the majority of my coaching. Therese was incredibly practical (and patient!) and her drills and tuition, targeted to the individual needs of those in my group of three were spot on. I felt a real improvement in my techniques in both my short and long game over the week. In addition to providing excellent coaching Therese was an absolute delight to spend time with and I really appreciated her commitment to ensuring that we got the most out of the school and the coaching. Thank you all. I’m sure I will be back for a refresher.

As a returning golfer, having not played for 20 years, I decided that some concentrated training would a good way to get back into the game. I was not disappointed that I choose to travel to the Gold Coast and attend a 5-day school. With little pressure, Therese provided subtle and informed advice. Her knowledge was invaluable and her short game tuition was brilliant. David and Tom also offered precious tips and thoughtful commentary. I thoroughly enjoyed heading out every afternoon and playing a round with a coach providing advice. I am hitting the ball better than ever and my short game has improved dramatically. Whilst I was a little apprehensive to begin with, the coaches made me relax and, in the end, I had a fabulous week. I will return in the future for a tune up and to enjoy the friendly environment of the school.

My experience was really great. I had Tom working with me. He has a lot of experience and has a lot of patience. I also spent time with the other coaches on the greens and bunkers. I would definitely recommend Australian Golf School to any golfer that wants to improve his game. I enjoyed going to different Courses to practice what I was taught. I have gained a wealth of knowledge to improve my game. Thank you to Tom and Steve and hopefully catch up with you again next year.

David Thomas is a great instructor and my game has now improved beyond my expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for him from picking me up to drop off, a great sense of humour and just so much knowledge and ability. Myself and my two girlfriends were lucky enough to have the beautiful Therese Hjertstedt for our recent five-day golf clinic. I am 66 years old and my girlfriends are in their 50’s so, we were a little anxious about our experience before we headed up to the Gold Coast. Therefore, we requested to break the five days up with a weekend included after the first three days - a very smart move we agreed after the end of day 3. I am no spring chicken but play a pretty good game with a handicap of 16 but, was looking to improve my game overall to ensure I was getting the best out of myself. Whilst running a tight ship, Therese was an excellent mentor allowing us to focus on the parts of the game we were most keen to improve. She has excellent communication skills and was very clear and precise with her instruction. Her teaching skills are easy to follow and understand and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone wanting to do the course. My head is now full of knowledge - I just need to put it all into practice. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to consolidate their game.

We had the pleasure of doing a 5-day golf school with David and Therese as our coaches. We couldn’t have asked for better coaches or company for the 5 days, they were both absolutely brilliant at their job and lovely people to be with. Thank you, Australian Golf Schools, and thank you David and Therese for your skill and patience! We’ll be back for more.

Had not played much golf for a long time and wanted to develop a solid base before I got back into it. Certainly, did that. Worked closely with two different coaches over five days who bought different but complimentary approaches to improving my swing and eliminating shots. Could not recommend David and Therese more. They were fantastic and I will definitely be going back to see them at some point in the future to refine my game further.

Great week of golf (and beach)........ particularly valued the real time on-course golf tips..... played on some great golf courses and looking forward to coming back sometime soon.

I’m not a great golfer, so was a bit apprehensive, but needn’t have worried. The school is highly personalised, and goes at a pace that allows you to take it all in. I certainly intend to be back!

Our instructor (David) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He changed the way I approach the game. He has helped me with my balance and given me some good practice tips.

Without any major complicating swing mechanics my ball striking ability has improved immensely. This has led to great pleasure playing the game with increased confidence. With Tom and Josh, it was the subtle guidance and instructions which really helped me iron out the problems in my swing and the way I was approaching the game. Over the three days every moment was fun and enlightening I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Clinic. I will definitely return on a regular basis for further tuition.

Australian Golf Schools was fantastic. Both Tom and Josh were great instructors and it was a pleasure working with you. I learnt a lot and I know that it would have taken me years and many lessons to learn what you guys taught in 3 days. Tom and Josh were also incredibly flexible allowing us to start on a Sunday and take a "rain check" on day 3. I would recommend the AGS to anyone and expect that I will need to come back for a refresher some time.

When I went to the school as a high handicapped player I really struggled hitting irons and driver without slicing the ball. I had to change my grip and it was hard to do and because of this, I didn’t really see a big improvement while I was at the school. However, the drills that I was taught and how to coarse manage by playing the right shots at the right time has paid dividends. A month after the school continuing these drills and swing advices I’ve seen a big improvement and my local golf coach has even said I’ve made a massive improvement. Not only did Tom and David really help my golf game but they were really good to talk to and learn from. We played on some amazing golf courses and all in all it was an awesome experience that I’m very glad I did.

The team at Australian Golf Schools were great, treated us as mates and showed us a thing or two that we happily took home with us. Dave and Josh were really good coaches, gave us enough to support some improvement but not too much to be confusing. The courses we played were great, even had an extra round at Royal Pines at the end of the week! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun, informative week! Just be prepared for Dave’s jokes...

Myself and two mates attended the 3-day school and had a great time. The daily mix of tuition and course-play was excellent, and playing on classy golf courses in the company of a pro is really instructive. Great venue, great golf courses, great fun!

I really enjoyed my 5 days at the Australian Golf School on the Gold Coast. My experience exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to Golfers of all standards looking to improve their game. The 5 Days were run efficiently and expertly. From punctual pick up from my Gold Coast Hotel, Daily tuition and 18 holes each day on the World Class Gold Coast Courses.  The practice facilities are first class, both indoor and outdoor. My daily coaching from Josh Smith was outstanding and easily the best I have ever received. His ability to communicate his vast knowledge of the game was fantastic. Josh was very patient and professional throughout my time with him. He was also very likable. Without doubt my game has improved as a result of Josh’s coaching and my time with the Australian Golf School on the Gold Coast.

I just wanted to touch base and say thanks for the week. Dave was great, very accommodating, and easy to get along with, he also made a big effort to include my family which was much appreciated. Great facilities at Emerald Lakes and enjoyed each course that we played, I left with a lot of things/tips to work on to hopefully continue to improve my golf game. Just wanted to say thanks.

What can I say, our pro, Dave, was great. An early starter so we were able to stay on NZ time zone all week starting at 6am everyday (before it got too hot). Great tuition, great banter, (some) great golf. Would highly recommend Dave to anyone who wants to combine good fun with great golf coaching. He managed the balance of teaching myself (12 handicap) and wife (45) with no issues at all. Loved his simple techniques to change old bad habits. All in all a great week. Terry Adcock was amazing. His knowledge of the game was invaluable. We enjoyed our time at the golf clinic and we will return.

I learnt a lot about my swing during the 3-day golf clinic. I discovered what is causing the bad shots and what to do about them. I have videos now of the pro explaining in his own understandable words what I specifically need to focus on. I would recommend this multi-day clinic to all aspiring golfers.

My Wife Helen and I have recently returned to golf with plans to travel NZ playing as many courses as we can in our Motorhome. We had not played for some 20 odd years and desperately required some remedial training.  We chose AGS to provide the revision we needed with our game and to take a post-covid break at the same time on the Sunny Gold Coast where there are multiple choices of golf courses. Linford Jacquelin was the Pro who drew the short-straw being allocated to help our cause and took us through the whole process. Putting, swing training short and long game and coached us out on the course each day. His insight into what it takes and how the game as a whole works was invaluable. His experience having played a lifetime of golf and instruction really worked.  We came away with a bunch of valuable notes and a lot of information and hopefully leaving our bad habits behind! We both thoroughly enjoyed the 5-day school and we would recommend to those looking for an intense one-on-one tuition to give it a go.

I’m a periodic golfer who wanted a simple swing where I could recognise swing faults and know what corrections were required post the school. I have come away from the AGS 2 years running with an increased level of knowledge and understanding of my swing. The result has been a marked improvement in the enjoyment of my golf when I get time to play. Particularly, the training approach was easy to understand and not technically confusing, making the post school take away for me so much more valuable than what would be possible in the occasional one-hour lesson with a local golf pro. I can thoroughly recommend the AGS to any golfer wanting to improve their game and enjoyment of it. Many thanks to Josh and Linford for the coaching and bringing enjoyment back to my game.

A very big THANK YOU to Linford for a fantastic three days. I learnt so much! I’d only recently returned to the game after a twenty-year break, so wanted to totally immerse myself in the game, instead of having intermittent lessons. The Golf School is the way to go. Picked up each morning from my hotel, on the range within twenty minutes. Lessons throughout the morning, a break for lunch and then an 18-hole round to finish the afternoon. So many pearls of wisdom, that I certainly needed to make a list each day. Upon returning back home, my short game and putting has improved measurably. I’m certainly swinging better and striking the ball much more cleanly. It’s all part of the grind, but after a few sub-90 rounds, I’m now hooked. A few mates have noticed the improvement, so we’ll be returning for a Golf School tune up in 2024. Having been a golf tragic for several decades and not really making any progress from my 21 Handicap I thought I would treat myself and my wife who had been playing for 3 years for my 60th birthday to a three-day golf school and AGS being in Qld sounded like a great idea. A fantastic 3 days of what really is a school, great facilities and coaches, both very knowledgeable and experienced teachers and an awesome experience I would recommend to any golfer who wants to learn more about how and why of golf.  PS two days later we got 9 in at Port Douglas, we started with a Par and boogie, my wife played some awesome golf for the first 5 holes then slipped a bit and I had a great 9. Something to keep in mind - when we got home a week later and went to the driving range my wife couldn’t hit anything and was so frustrated, a quick couple of pointers from a local pro and the issue I have now is she is going to beat me in a game soon! I approached my 5-day course with some nervousness and trepidation but after meeting with Linford on Sunday and enjoying his company and a delicious meal those fears were replaced with excitement and an impatience to get started.  Being able to match instruction and advice with immediate practice with an on-course coaching was an excellent way to entrench my learnings. Linford’s keep it simple approach to swing dynamics and endless patience made the whole course a very valuable learning experience that has set me up for a much more positive and enjoyable golfing future.  The whole package, instruction, advice, playing on great golf courses and Linford’s willingness to share his comprehensive knowledge of all things golf, is a great experience I would recommend to all.

My wife and I attended a 3-day short game course at Australian Golf Schools on the Gold Coast in August 2023. Our instructor, Terry, was a great guy and we both really enjoyed the course. Lessons in the morning and playing in the afternoon with an experienced professional was fantastic. Interestingly even though it was a short game course the simple advice re driver and longer clubs changed my swing and my results in a way I cannot believe. We have both had lots of lessons before but this was absolutely the best result we have had. Playing on 3 different courses with someone who actually doesn’t hit the ball that far but can score very low was extremely interesting. Since I have returned I am feeling much more confident and have a clear plan of how I can improve my scoring. The outcome was much better than we expected.

In June, I embarked on a five-day golf course at the Australian Golf Academy, an experience I found immensely valuable and fulfilling. The program consisted of five full days, each spanning eight hours of personalized instruction, including the opportunity to play 18 holes of golf under the guidance of an expert golf professional. This comprehensive approach proved ideal for individuals seeking to refine their golf game.  One of the standout features of the Golf Academy was the class size, which I found truly exceptional. With only two participants assigned to each golf professional, I felt fortunate to receive such personalized attention. This small class size enabled the instructors to provide tailored guidance and feedback, fostering a conducive learning environment.

Had a terrific but intense week. As a latecomer to golf (about 3 years) I was beginning to feel that I was never going to make any real progress but the combination of a full morning of personalized tuition followed by 18 holes of golf under supervision every day has made a real difference to my game. Very enjoyable and recommended to anyone serious about improving their golf.

I attended a 5 day beginners course with my friend Lauren, I knew nothing about golf and couldn’t even hit a ball. Each day was intense with practice and completing 18 holes of golf. Our coach was good and we got to see and experience some beautiful golf courses. After 5 days I am not great at golf but I know it's about practice, how to set up prior to trying to hit the ball and understanding the rules of golf. I feel I can now go and play golf and keep improving thanks to the 5 days. Our coach was a great guy and I would recommend this to my friends.

Had a wonderful week with Linford going through the dynamics of the golf swing and then putting it all into practice. The unique part about the week allows you to put into practice what you learned immediately, which isn’t normally the case when you have a lesson. This helped cement everything Very quickly. Great experience!

We loved it! Linford was a great teacher; a no-nonsense approach. It was a very intensive week. Linford would pick my wife and myself up at 8am every morning at our accommodation and we would be at the Range hitting balls from 8.20am. We would be under instruction at the Range until lunchtime and then would play 18 holes at one of the excellent local courses. He would then drop us back to our accommodation at 4.30pm/ 5pm. Needless to say we learnt a lot. We would highly recommend the Australian Golf School and Linford.

Tom I thank both you and Lindford for giving me wonderful week at Emerald Lakes. As a lifetime golfer I have one of the most enjoyable weeks. It was simple but rewarding. Lindford is a real gentleman and an outstanding coach. I’m not sure what the final result will be for me but in the end it doesn’t matter too much. I’m still doing it and have some goals. That’s what counts in the end. I enjoyed meeting Darren and hope Simon and I can get down to the course at Logan when I am here for the PGA. Please forward this email to Lindford with best wishes.

The Golf School experience as a beginner was a game changer for me. Terry (our coach) altered pretty well everything I was doing in a professional, patient and encouraging manner. My game has improved out of sight. The opportunity to have eight hours a day of coaching was amazing and I would highly recommend the school to anyone wishing to enhance their play. I thoroughly recommend this. I am a beginner - 36 handicap - playing golf for 1 year. Our coach, Terry Adcock was fantastic. His knowledge and experience with Golf as well as his professional manner (with a sense of humour) was just what I needed. He introduced golfing principles gradually throughout the week so not to confuse or overwhelm. Also he placed great importance on understanding so that when we went back to our "golfing lives" we could apply the principles easily. My short game - after 4 weeks - has improved out of sight in particular. I would certainly recommend to anyone wishing to improve their game, in whatever stage or ability they are. I also would consider doing this course again in the future! The facilities and courses we played at were fabulous as well.

My wife, her niece and I enjoyed our week of golf school immensely. Our teacher, Terry was awesome. He was patient, knowledgeable and had a fantastic sense of humour. We all went in with high expectations and did not leave there disappointed. In fact, my wife won her division in her first game back from the school. Terry changed a lot of things for all of us and drummed into us we need to practice which we all are. I'm very much looking forward to seeing my handicap reduce over the next few months. I can't speak highly enough of the facility, the golf courses we played but most of all, our coach, Terry. If anyone is considering doing golf school, then I say - GO FOR IT!!!

Prior to doing a five-day course at Australian Golf Schools, my golf had fallen into a decline with falling stableford scores and a rising handicap. Coach Linford Jacquelin’s calm and clear teaching pulled my game out of a hole and set me up to continue to improve. Through a combination of uncomplicated instruction, drills and on-course experience I am now armed with the swing and mental attitude to be the competent golfer I aspire to being.

I would like to start off by saying what a great week it was at the school. Our Coach Lindford Jaquelin was fantastic and very patient. I would highly recommend the full week at the school to fully assimilate the training and embed the new practices into your routine. I found the coaching was targeted to my main problem areas I had and with persistence and patience, allowed me to work through those problems. Playing 18 holes of golf each day really helped put the learning into practice. Having a coach on the ground with you as you play was the most rewarding of the whole week for me. It is hard to put into words how much insight to your game you get with a coach talking and guiding you through your shots from tee to green. I will be taking away the training and tips that I was taught and working through those to hopefully in the near future, better my game. As Linford says, Perseverance, Persistence and Patience is the key to successful golf. Thank you for a great week of learning, and I would like to shout out to the other players in our group, Susan and Saul who also made the week enjoyable. Did not disappoint. If you reading this and are not sure, just do it, you will be glad you did, worth every cent.

I wanted to pass on some positive feedback after my trip this week. I was only able to make 3 days not 5 and found I learned so much. Linford, was very personable and very patient. He provided a lot of tips and insights that I hadn’t received before. He made the whole experience very informative and practical.

A great training model to really focus on areas for improvement and see the benefits quickly. I was only able to stay for three days but wish I had been able to stay for five. Maybe next time! Small group so I felt I had the attention on my needs whilst allowing me some time to practice what had been identified. Linford had a plan and I’m happy to say the plan worked. I’m sure I will be back again!

What a great experience with Linford for 5 days. Being very new to golf Linford taught me the fundamentals and hitting the ball straight. As well as a very solid approach to the short game of golf as well. Would highly recommend anyone to try this golf school out.

We could not recommend the Australian Golf School highly enough. We took the 5 day school with friends from ACT under the tutelage of Linford Jacquelin and Terry Adcock. We felt very privileged to have such expert tutors for the week. Both have such a wealth of knowledge and love of the game along with the ability to coach in a way that is understandable and practical. Our games have improved tremendously since our visit. Golfers of any standard will benefit from visiting the School. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I did the 3 day Golf School and would recommend it. The format of practice and drills in the morning, and a game at a highly rated golf course in the afternoon, all under the excellent eye of our coach Josh Smith, definitely improved our game.

I have had golf instruction from other coaches, but Linford at AGS was able to identify technical issues with my golf swing that were holding me back from reaching my full potential. Patient, experienced, and steady, Linford’s guidance was a real value-add to my game. Highly recommended!

My husband and I attended the 5 day golf school and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The lessons were well structured and progressive, and covered all aspects of the game. On our course there were 6 students and 3 golf instructors so the instruction was very personalized and tailored to individual requirements. Each instructor had different teaching strengths and strategies which meant we picked up really useful tips from each one of them. We both saw a huge improvement in our game and regularly refer back to our notes to make that we don’t get into any bad habits. It was also sociable and friendly making it suitable for somebody wanting to attend on their own. I would thoroughly recommend the Australian Golf School to anybody wanting to improve their golf game.

I thoroughly enjoyed my work with the Australian Golf Schools. My dedicated pro was Linford Jacquelin and he was excellent. I had not played golf for a number of years. We rebuilt my game from grip through stance swing etc. Also completely changed my approach to putting. Through Linford’s insistence that I take notes, I now easily refer to the many lessons learned. Never ever hit the ball so consistently or straight! Highly recommended

I attended Australian Golf School in May 2022 with 2 girlfriends also from Riverside Mildura. I found the instructors very professional but also explained themselves in layman’s terms for those that needed it. It took a couple of months putting the coach’s tips to practice for results to come. I’ve lowered my handicap, become more confident in areas that were needed and still improving. I will attend another program in the future and will take my husband who I feel would love the experience.

Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for last week when I enrolled in the 5-day program. I have never been on the course with a coach before and I can see now why my thinking was completely wrong. I now understand the game of golf a lot better and your on course instruction was worth the price of admission alone. Great experience!

Attending the 5 day Australian Golf School on the Gold Coast turned out to be a great idea. Not only did it improve my game but it was also a lot of fun. Everything seemed to be happening at the right pace and our instructors sure knew their stuff. I came back to Darwin and recently won a weekly competition for the first time in years. I’ll be returning next year for a refresher 2 or 3 day school.

My whole experience with the Australian Golf School was great. I took the 5 day option, which I would highly recommend given it allowed time to build rapport with the pros and fully absorb the changes and drills to take home and improve my golf. Our group ranged from new starters to accomplished players. Each person received the support they needed professionally delivered in a way which kept everyone feeling comfortable and at ease with what they were working on. There was plenty of fun amongst the group mixed with great tuition. The training facilities are fantastic. All the courses we played offered something different and were approached in a relaxed way with little focus on scoring and more on building a consistent swing and the right shot selection. Enough could not be said for the quality of the pros, their methods of teaching and their genuine intertest in making my game better. It was 5 days worth of "a great experience".

Wow, when I started at the beginning of the week, I never expected I could possibly learn as much as I did in five days, but the instruction provided by both Linford and Josh made the learning seem so simple for such a complex game. I went away armed with some very good ideas and thoughts on how to produce a swing that would allow me to enjoy the game more than I was. I would really like to thank both of Linford and Josh for the help and guidance you gave, and whilst I’m not ready for the pro tour, at least I can keep up with my fellow golfers at my home club it is almost certain that I will be back sometime next year, and I look forward to further refining my golf skills under their tutelage.

Just had to tell you I won B Grade today in stroke comp and missed the monthly medal on a count back!! I have never been close! Hitting straighter on to the green was the key. Thank You!!

A very excited old Durko has just returned from the Saturday comp at Headland, and he’s pretty animated. Had 82 off the bat, for 42 stableford points – my best round for yonks!!! Unfortunately, it was 4BBB Stableford and my mate did not contribute much – as a team we had 45 points!!!! My short game was outstanding –putted for six birdies and dropped three of them!! The only downside was two double bogeys – both the result of wayward tee shots (yes, lost to the right). But I’m absolutely stoked, so due acknowledgments to you, Paul. Hoping for more of the same as I put your advice into practise!! Thanks

Like most people I was very nervous about coming to a golf school for a full week. I was worried that I wasn’t even good enough to be there but I must say, not only did I love it, I can’t believe how much I learnt. In fact I think I learnt even more than I think as I seem to be a lot calmer playing now and seem to understand things better and don’t ‘panic’ (I think the word you used) anymore and am excited about how well I can play now….not scared of how poorly I play (in front of other people). I can’t thank you enough and I cannot wait to see you guys again, I now know I can do this and I look forward to my golfing future

Thank you for your time last week, I feel like I squeezed 4 years’ worth of learning into 5 days. Interestingly though I never felt overwhelmed, in fact I got more excited as the week went on. I loved playing at The Glades and Sanctuary Cove, that alone was worth the experience, but to play my best ever rounds on those courses was amazing. Never thought I would say this but I can’t wait to get home and practice my new short game. See you again next year.

My putting has been pretty solid actually, I am starting to nail some longer putts. I am averaging around 30-29 putts a round, so I am pretty happy with it, but can definitely improve. My lag putting is also getting better, I may have a 3 putt every now and then but not as many as I used to. I just shot my best round ever of -2 the other day, and hit the ball pretty solid. Hopefully that is starting to come good but I would say putting is one of my strengths now particularly within 3 metres. Thanks so much!

Just a quick email to thank you for last week. Wow is all I can say. I loved the coaching, was simple and easy to understand, loved the courses, don’t even know what to say about that, but I mostly enjoyed your friendly and caring manner. 50 years of coaching could have ‘hardened’ some coaches up, but not you…..I think my highlight was the night we had dinner. Time flew and I could listen to stories of your golf travels all night. Hopefully with my ‘new’ game I might start to travel playing golf and loving it too very soon. Whenever you are in Melbourne you know who to look up for a game

Had a great time over the weekend. I learnt so much about the grip and swing plane, more so as to why you do the things you should do. I do have one problem now, out on the course I hit my 9 iron to the green, but it went flying over the back of the green, normally I wouldn’t even make close to the green. This was over water and I had the confidence to go over the water and not around it!!

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you – especially for your patience- in helping improve my golf!! Back in NZ the conditions have been dreadful until today. I really did play much better BUT need to work on consistency and to practice. Now I know what to do and what to not do – at least most of the time. Your videos are great and good reminders. Thank you for putting in the golf club with grip – a good reminder for me I really appreciate your efforts with me and I know there will be a big improvement in my game

Spent 2 days at the golf coaching school with David Thomas and enjoyed immensely. I wish I had time to do the full 5 days. David was personable, funny, very informative - and tolerant. I was in a group of 3 and we all received individual coaching as well as group coaching. We were not rushed and given plenty of time to adjust and practice. The facilities were excellent. I am left-handed and the fact that David can hit both right and left-handed was very helpful. I can strongly recommend to any level of golfer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 day course with David Thomas. The training he provided in relation to all aspects of the game, driving, chipping, bunker play, putting as well as the on-course tutoring totally exceeded my expectations. David is a wonderful coach, and with his patience, guidance, the specific drills he provided me with I could see a vast improvement not only in my golf swing, but my overall game and course management. All my expectations were met while at golf school. Therese was a patient, dedicated and very experienced coach and she taught me a lot about golf in general and how to improve my game. Dave was great at organising our afternoon tee times at all the courses we played which were very enjoyable. The coaching facilities were fantastic and the restaurant at Emerald Lakes provided food at a very high standard. Therese worked us very hard, picking me up at 7.40am and dropping me off after 6pm on most days - we had to 'chip in' to finish on some days and this was great for my short game. I am hoping to take my game to the next level with what I have learnt and then to find more time for another visit to golf school. Thank-you for a great week.

The best week ever! I learnt so much over the five days and can’t wait to get back to my home course to test it all out. Highly recommend if you want to dramatically improve your golf game.

I spent a fantastic week with Therese who knows her stuff, was so positive and worked hard to help us learn useful techniques. I’m still quite new to golf and she’s had a great impact on my short game and my drive. Therese was absolutely terrific and I’d recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their game.

What a great experience! I chose the 5 day option - a lot of golf but well worth the effort. All facets of the game were covered and David and Therese were great in both providing instruction and simple explanations. I feel that some parts of my game showed immediate improvement while others are a work in progress and may be for a little time yet. I really enjoyed the opportunity to play 18 holes with David and/or Therese every afternoon - we were given the chance to watch a good player, receive advice on perhaps how to play a certain shot and at times the shot was demonstrated. I would recommend this experience to anyone who just loves the game and I would consider maybe returning for a short game course in the future. Many thanks

Great location, great courses and a fantastic week. Dave is an absolute star of a coach who made us feel at ease from day 1, always willing to adapt the day to accommodate what he felt we needed to work on. As a total beginner, do feel that 18 holes a day was a bit much and would have preferred that we spent more time on drills and technique rather than time on the course getting frustrated hitting the bush far too often. That said, I really feel that Dave has given us the know how and the confidence on what we need to do to get on the PGA tour. Just going to take 10000+++ repetitions.

A seamless and utterly enjoyable experience, underpinned by the good company, patience, skill and gentle wisdom of my instructor, Therese. Highly recommend it for both technical improvement and playing confidence. I'll be back!

I did the three day course recently and it was fantastic. I was partnered with Therese Hjertstedt for the three days and her tutoring was excellent. While I have been focusing on how I've been playing and what I'm doing wrong (and brought the last three months worth of data from my rounds!), Therese looked over my data and very quickly assessed what I needed to do to better strike my irons and woods. She gave me a few tips each day that helped me focus on being more positive about my putting, short game and longer golf shots. My short game in particular was a problem for me and Therese focused on areas that would help me best at my home golf course Kikuyu grass fairways and rough. I'm definitely more confident now around the greens and my course management is very much improved following advice from Therese. Overall it's money well spent and I'm very much looking forward my future rounds and bringing my handicap down.

At the 3 day short game school we were exposed to a myriad of drills, tips, practice and setup routines by Tom, Therese and David. Tom, particularly, had an old school approach that seemed to suit me. While I didn’t see an instant improvement, I have come away with skill sets that have started to benefit my game. There is much to be said for intensive coaching combined with a golfing holiday, playing beautiful courses while learning from the masters.
