3 DAY SHORT GAME

(Minimum of 2 x people required to book in 3 day short game golf school. If you are a single golfer please request info to join another groups dates).

Our 3-day golf schools run midweek any day Monday to Friday and are designed to be 3 days of enjoyable golf. 3 days of working on your short game with our coaches will give you the fundamentals and the practical capabilities to carry your improved short game techniques forward with you after you leave the golf school. The short game school will help you lower your score.

Golfers lose 80 percent of their shots to par inside of 100 yards. Improving your skills in this range- the chips, pitches, sand and wedge shots- will undoubtedly lower your scores. As well as this we give plenty of attention to the putting stroke as well. 

This golf school focuses keenly on a system of essential skills and techniques that helps you understand 1) what you need to do to hit your scoring shots closer 2) how you can properly practice to improve and 3) how to take this work confidently to the course time and again.

It includes one day where the focus is almost entirely on putting. You will learn to read the greens like a professional, master a putting stroke and technique that won’t let you down and get a better understanding of the mental approach to great putting.

The school starts with the daily routine 8:00am pickup (7:00am in warmer months) from your accommodation where you are driven to Australian Golf School’s base of Emerald Lakes Golf Club. We spend the first part of day 1 observing and videoing your short game and developing a plan for the 3 days.

There are never more than 3 pupils per coach which means you are always getting the attention of the coach. Each day starts on the driving range where all aspects of your short game are covered e.g: swing analysis, bunker play, reading greens, putting & shot selection.

Then in the afternoons your coach takes you for an 18-hole playing lesson at one of the Gold Coast’s premier golf courses to see how you handle the scoring side of golf ‘Course Management’. The coaches also work on implementing what they have been teaching you on the practice greens that morning.

The school finishes on day 3 where we guarantee the satisfaction of your golf game having improved greatly over the 3 days.
